Samsung Series 5 WW11DG5B25AEEU Washing Machine White

Tackle the family backlog

The 11 kg drum sits at the upper end for a standard-footprint machine, so a king-size duvet, a week of school uniform or a pile of sports kit all go in together. A 1400 rpm maximum spin is what you would expect at this capacity, drawing more moisture out so laundry comes out drier and ready for the line or dryer sooner. Variable spin lets you ease off for delicates.

Smaller bills bigger loads

The A energy rating is the highest tier on the current scale, with 48 kWh per 100 cycles efficient for an 11 kg drum. Water use of 54 litres per cycle is sensible for the capacity, especially when paired with full loads. The auto dosing system measures detergent precisely for each wash, cutting waste and stopping you over-pouring on smaller cycles.

Less faff more clean

Fourteen programmes cover everything from synthetics to bedding, and a steam function helps lift in-wash stains and freshen fabrics. The 15-minute quick wash refreshes lightly soiled items before you head out, while Wi-Fi connectivity lets you start, pause or monitor cycles through your phone. A 24-hour delay start, child lock, variable temperature and LED display round out day-to-day control, alongside dial and button operation.

Quiet enough for open plan

At 600 mm wide, 850 mm high and 600 mm deep, it slots neatly into a standard under-counter space. The 72 dB(A) spin noise carries an A noise emission class, the quietest tier available, so it stays unobtrusive in kitchen-diners. Front loading and a cold-water supply keep installation straightforward. Compare prices across UK retailers, or browse other freestanding washing machines in this range for alternatives.
